How To Live

Sitting still in San Diego, three weeks and change into this tour. I think it was my original intention to keep some kinda hyped-up daily journal, but clearly I dropped the ball on that. I'm writing a synopsis-style tour journal for my friend's zine, so it started to feel redundant, and also it seems to make more sense with a little space between the events and the retelling. Here, however, are some photos and moments that stand out...

Eureka!

In Eureka, California washing clothes at the laundrymat while the sun sets slowly. Yesterday I was at the top of a waterfall, then hanging with Koltay at the Deerhunter show in Portland, then driving all night to Grant's Pass, and then today we played a sweet, strange show at Missing Link Records in Arcata at 3 in the afternoon. A liter of Mexican Coca Cola at the store next door cost $1 and the really nice people at the store gave me a Butthole Surfers bootleg I used to own when I was younger.
